RICOS to Exhibit at Manufacturing World Tokyo 2026
Would you like to evaluate more design concepts and engineering alternatives to develop better products, but find yourself constrained by the effort and computation time required to identify the optimal solution?
RICOS Co., Ltd. develops advanced predictive models using its proprietary AI technology, which combines governing physical equations with graph neural networks. At the exhibition, we will present real-world examples in which prediction time was accelerated by up to 100 times compared with conventional 3D CAE analysis.
Our staff will explain how these technologies can transform “time spent waiting for computations” into “time spent generating ideas” and enable true front-loading of the product development process. We invite you to visit the RICOS booth and speak with us.
■ Three Key Strengths of RICOS
1: Dramatically Faster Computation
Complex 3D CAE analyses, such as automotive aerodynamics, cabin HVAC, and heat exchanger analyses, can conventionally take several days. Using RICOS AI, comparable results can be predicted in as little as 10–20 minutes. We have achieved reductions in computation time of approximately 100 times compared with conventional 3D CAE analysis.
2: IsoGCN — RICOS's Proprietary Physics-Based AI Technology
RICOS has developed its own AI technology, IsoGCN, which combines governing physical equations with graph neural networks. Unlike AI based solely on statistical methods or conventional neural networks, IsoGCN enables the construction of predictive models that take actual physical phenomena into account. We have also successfully built predictive models using as few as two or three sets of training data generated from 3D CAE analysis.
3: Front-Loading the Development Process through Concurrent Design and Reduced Rework
Predictive models built using RICOS AI can provide performance predictions even during the early stages of development, including product planning, packaging, and styling design. RICOS solutions do not require the complex operation associated with conventional 3D CAE tools and can therefore be used by a broader range of users. This enables people involved in various stages of product development to evaluate performance quantitatively and qualitatively from the earliest phases of the development process. As an additional benefit, identifying performance issues earlier can help prevent costly rework in downstream processes, contributing to significant reductions in both development cost and lead time.
■ Exhibition Overview
At our booth, we will present panels featuring specific applications in the automotive, high-tech, and heavy-industry sectors. We will also be available to discuss effective ways to apply and introduce AI technologies according to your specific engineering challenges.
